Sam Robbins just can’t help but make music. He writes songs that sound like conversations with old friends or new lovers.”

New Hampshire Magazine, "Best of NH issue"

What Sam Robbins does looks effortless. He is self-motivated, genuine and has a quiet confidence that simply grabs your attention any time he is on stage.”

Patty Duffey, Owner of Boston based talent agency Music On and Up

Sam Robbins is a New England-based singer songwriter whose smooth, soulful and intriguing vocals evoke thoughts of artists far beyond his 20 years. Described as a mix of James Taylor and Jason Isbell, his songs effortlessly blend pop melodies and folk philosophies coupled with stunning guitar work.
A multi-instrumentalist from a young age, Sam began learning drums and piano, falling in love with guitar at age 13. He then started writing original music, recording his first EP during his sophomore year of high school, while playing gigs at local and regional venues in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
In 2014, Sam won the Music On and Up Grand Finale, a competition that attracts hundreds of performers from around the country each year. Also in 2014, his performance of an original song was featured on Comcast On Demand.
Over the years, Sam has shared the stage with Aaron Carter, Amy Grant, and American Idol top 3 finalist Alex Preston. Now studying at Berklee College of Music, Sam Robbins continues to gain considerable attention as he performs live around New England.
Sam’s first full band record released in 2016 includes upbeat songs and intimate acoustic moments, reflective of his music influences.
As he continues to perform full time, Sam's music captivates and draws in listeners from across New England and beyond.
