Sam Robbins is a New England-based singer songwriter whose smooth, soulful and intriguing vocals evoke thoughts of artists far beyond his 22 years. Reminiscent of classic singer songwriters like James Taylor and John Denver, his songs effortlessly blend pop melodies and folk philosophies coupled with stunning guitar work.
        
A multi-instrumentalist from a young age, Sam began learning drums and piano, falling in love with guitar at age 13. He then started writing original music, recording his first EP during his sophomore year of high school, while playing gigs at local and regional venues in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
         
Over the past 3 years, Sam has performed nearly 600 shows. In 2014, his performance of an original song was featured as the winner of the "FIT for Stardom" competition in Manchester, NH and subsequently the performance was featured on Comcast On Demand. That same year, he was invited to headline a solo acoustic show at Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, NH. In 2017, he was published in the "Best of New Hampshire" edition of New Hampshire Magazine, and also performed at the Best of New Hampshire Event at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, NH. In November of 2017, Sam was invited to open for BJ Thomas at The Music Hall in Portsmouth NH. In 2018, he performed at all of the City of Boston Christmas tree lightings, including for a crowd of 20,000+ at Boston Common. in 2018 he also opened shows for national acts around Boston in venues like The Middle East, The Red Room, City Winery Boston and others. He opened a sold out veterans' benefit show at Blue Ocean Music Hall in May 2018.

in 2018, Sam was able to audition for Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and Jennifer Hudson on Season 15 of NBC's The Voice. He was the season's "Young James Taylor" and he was the first artist to ever perform a Jim Croce song on the show. While he did not advance with his blind audition performance of "Time in a Bottle", Sam was selected by Kelsea Ballerini to be one of six artists in The Voice's first ever "Comeback Stage". He was able to work with Ballerini, who called his performance "perfect".

He attends Berklee college of Music as a songwriting major, and there he has collaborated with renowned performers and educators like Paula Cole, Melissa Ferrick, Peter Eldridge. In 2018, Sam was awarded the most prestigious songwriting scholarship at Berklee, the Pat Pattison Songwriting Award.
         
Over the years, Sam has shared the stage with BJ Thomas, Aaron Carter, Melissa Ferrick, and American Idol top 3 finalist Alex Preston. Now a senior at Berklee College of Music, Sam Robbins continues to gain considerable attention as he performs live around New England. Sam released two singles in 2017, “Now With You” And “Even in May”, which showcase a more Americana, rootsy sound when compared to his 2016 debut EP.


As he continues to perform full time, Sam's music captivates and draws in listeners from across New England and beyond.
